10 Secrets to Slow Down Your Aging!
As
children, we can hardly wait to grow up and do everything adults do.
However, once we reach a certain age all we want is to look and feel
younger.
Aging happens whether you like it or not; some people age faster than
others. It is mostly a result of lifestyle, eating habits, sleeping
habits, overall health, genes, etc.
Thanks to ancient cultures and modern scientific study, we have discovered
ways to slow the aging process. I highly recommend incorporating the
following “secrets” into your lifestyle in order to slow down your aging.
10 Secrets to Slow Down Your Aging
1. Meditation, Prayer and Quiet time – These activities allow you
to calm and collect yourself. It is important to pull back any released
energy that causes you to feel incomplete, tired or weak; it will slow
down your aging process. As little as five minutes of daily meditation is
beneficial.

meditation. And to keep yourself motivated, join a local meditation group.
2. Detoxify, Twice per year – This is very important; toxins built
up in areas of the body like: the liver, kidneys, digestive tract and
blood. By keeping your organs and systems clean, it allows them to
function at a healthy level and slow down aging.
Consult a qualified health care provider to find out what cleanse(s) will
work best for your body .
3. Clear and Resolve Negative Core Beliefs – Last month, I wrote
about this topic. I can not stress enough how important it is to clear and
resolve any negative core beliefs you hold in your subconscious mind. You
can read about how to address negative core beliefs in my
April 2010 Newsletter article.
4. Be True to Yourself – It means to follow your bliss. Do what you
want with your life without fear or feelings of inhibition, as long as,
there is no possibility that your actions will harm or hurt another
person.
Typically when you are true to yourself, you feel relaxed; you experience
inner peace and joy; and, you are comfortable with yourself and your
surroundings.
5. A Healthy and Balanced Diet – Eating a diet comprised of 80%
live/raw foods and 20% cooked foods is an excellent way to slow down your
aging process. It is quite simple to understand; live foods add life to
you while dead or cooked foods cause your body to decay quicker.
Say you have been hard on your body for a number of years, but you are now
ready to turn it around. There are foods and herbs that can supercharge
your life force and slow aging like: Goji berries, American Ginseng,
Ashwagandha, and Lou Rong (deer antler) Fresh vegetable juices are a great
way to regain your vitality, as well as, micro algae like
E3Live.
Refined foods such as: white sugar and white flour, processed food and
animal protein speed up the aging process when eaten to excess.
6. Take a Break – Many people do not take breaks during their
workday. It is critical to take a break or breaks to avoid burning out.
Burnout will cause your body and cells to be overstressed and it
accelerates the aging process.
It is important to have regular, weekly time off from your job to avoid
burnout. Also, it is highly recommended to take a week or two vacation at
least once or twice a year to rejuvenate yourself, even if you only stay
at home.
7. Seven to Nine Hours Sleep Per Night – Go to bed by 10 pm. Make
it your goal to get 7-9 hours of sleep per night; it will connect your
body with the healing and rejuvenating power of healthy sleep. Beneficial
hormones that heal the body are released during the sleep cycle around 10
pm.
Getting 7-9 hours of sleep is proven to help prevent cancer, heart and
circulatory problems; reduce stress and inflammation; improve memory,
weight loss and the body’s ability to repair itself.
8. Gentle Relaxing Exercise – Try to include some form of gentle
exercise into your daily life such as: a 20 minute walk or swim, yoga, Tai
Chi or Qigong. All of these exercises can be enjoyed well into your later
years.
9. Drink Eight Glass of Water – Drink 8 glasses of potable water
daily; your body will thank-you. Your body is about 60% water; it needs
sufficient water to maintain cell hydration; flush out toxins; transport
nutrients to cells; and, provide a moist environment for your ears, mouth,
throat, eyes and tissues.
10. Release Resentments – Holding onto resentments creates excess
heat in your body which dries out cells; diminishes your life force; and
directly, harms the function of your kidneys.

Join us for 20 minutes at this time using whatever meditative practice you
use to find yourself in a state of calm and relaxation. Find a quiet,
secluded space for 20 minutes to participate, or go to a city park or an
area in nature where you can sit by a tree and breathe in your natural
surroundings.
If you don't have experience in meditation, here is a simple step by step
process to guide you along:
1. Sit down in a comfortable position, either in a chair or on the ground
with a comfortable pillow.
2. Close your eyes and breathe in love to your heart, and then out to the
world. Continue to focus on feeling love and bringing it into your heart
and then breathing it out.
3. Bring to your mind’s eye, a visualization of the new life circumstance
that you wish to experience in your life. As you see it, also affirm the
FEELING that would come with it in this present moment. Feel yourself
owning this experience in your life. It’s important to affirm the
condition in the present moment. For instance, don’t affirm “I wish to get
healthier”. Such a statement would just affirm that you do not have
health. It is many times more powerful to affirm, “I feel healthy and full
of love in my life”.
4. Continue to breathe in and breathe out the resonance of love, (Focused
Appreciation) and hold the VISION and FEELING of your new circumstance
within, be it health, abundance, stronger relationships or a nurturing
environment.
If you have a specific problematic area, put your attention and intention
there to guide the healing energy to do its work.
5. At the end of this 20 minute meditation, imagine passing along this
same gift to another within this massive group of people that will be
joining us all over the world. One of the most powerful affirmations you
can give, is to give others what you are affirming to have in your own
life. Such an intention re-affirms, energetically that, “I can give this
to another, because I in fact have an abundance of it in my own life”.
We will be working with the conditions that we are guided to work on
during this focused 20 minute period, and at different points throughout
the day. Thousands of people will be receiving this healing intention on

For the rest of the day, you should take part in activities that you find
nurturing and re-affirm the state that you wish to have in your life. If
you wish to have more love in your life, then take time for the rest of
the day to be loving and kind to the people you are in contact with. If
you wish to be more abundant, take action and help to affirm another’s
abundance. Perhaps leave a larger tip to the person serving you a coffee
at the local café. As you do, always make sure you hold the feeling of
abundance within, a feeling that affirms that you have abundance and are
willing to give to another.
Being of service to another is a powerful way to re-affirm that you have
the ability to give what you desire.
